Responsible for the management of all human resource programs within the diocese, the office provides guidance and assistance in the areas of employment, compensation, benefits, training and regulatory compliance. The Office of Human Resources serves as a source of human resource information for all employees within the diocese.

The Diocese of Tyler offers a 403(b) Retirement Plan for all regular full-time and regular part-time lay employees. The plan is administered by Mutual of America.
Enrollment in the 403(b) Retirement Plan is open to eligible employees. The diocese matches employee contributions up to 4% of salary into an employee’s account with Mutual of America.
