The principal is entrusted with the responsibility of developing school programs which ensure not only academic excellence, but also the spiritual, moral, physical, and emotional development of a school community. The principal should be a faith-filled, prayerful individual who is committed to their own spiritual growth, as well as that of their faculty and students. Lufkin, Texas, is a quiet community of approximately 35,000 people, northeast of Houston and nestled in the beautiful pinewoods of East Texas. It is a major transportation and manufacturing center of the area. Education is a key focus of the community, offering opportunities from elementary through college.
St. Patrick Catholic School, founded in 1955, offers exceptional educational opportunities to students in Angelina and surrounding communities. The applicant must be a practicing Catholic, meet the TCCBED requirements of a master’s degree with 18 hours in education administration. Previous administration experience is preferred.
