Three to get married
Marriage Formation RetreatThe Diocese of Tyler is proud to offer the Three to Get Married marriage formation retreat weekends. Designed by our Family Life Office, these retreats are an opportunity for couples to learn how to put Christ at the center of the marriages as they prepare for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
Retreats are usually Friday evening-Saturday evening, or all day Saturday-Sunday afternoon. Mentor couples are invited and encouraged to attend with their engaged couples when possible.
The retreat covers important topics such as communication and family of origin, and the couples who attend will spend time with the treasures of our Catholic faith, such as praying together, celebrating the sacraments of Confession, and the Holy Eucharist.
This is an important part of the marriage formation process, and we look forward to working with new couples!
How to register:
Step 1: Talk to your parish priest. Once you’ve checked in with your priest, you’re free to register.
Step 2: Find a weekend that works for you. We offer muliple retreats throughout the year.
Step 3: Register for your weekend. Sign up as soon as possible! Weekends fill up quickly.
Step 4: Attend your retreat. Discover the mystery and beauty of a marraige done God’s way!
Retreat Schedule:
Retreats are offered in-person. Registration for these events is limited, and the registration for the weekend will close as soon as the event capacity has been reached or on the registration deadline (whichever comes first).
