PASTOR

Rev. Luke Kalarickal, MSFS, appointed as Pastor of Prince of Peace Parish in Whitehouse, upon nomination of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales (from Chaplain of CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler). Effective May 1, 2019.

PAROCHIAL VICAR 

Rev. Jose Marin assigned as Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Jacksonville (from Parochial Vicar of St. Edward Parish in Athens and Mary Queen of Heaven Parish in Malakoff). Effective July 1, 2019.

Rev. Charles Vreeland assigned as Parochial Vicar of St. Edward Parish in Athens and Mary Queen of Heaven Parish in Malakoff (from Chaplain of St. John Paul II Campus Ministry and Bishop Gorman School in Tyler). Effective July 1, 2019

CHAPLAIN 

Rev. Joshua Neu assigned as Chaplain of St. John Paul II Campus Ministry in Tyler (from Director of Faith Formation for St. Philip Institute). He will continue as vocations director. Effective June 1, 2019. 

Rev. Daniel Oghenerukevwe assigned as Chaplain of CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler (from Parochial Vicar of St. Joseph Parish in Marshall and Immaculate Conception Parish in Jefferson). Effective June 1, 2019. 

OTHER

Rev. Msgr. Ronald Diegel granted retirement from active ministry (from Pastor of St. Mary of the Cenacle in New Boston). Effective October 11, 2019 (44th ordination anniversary). The new pastor of St. Mary will be announced later this summer.

Rev. Juan Pedro Gonzalez assigned to studies in canon law at the Pontifical University of Mexico. Effective July 1, 2019.

Rev. Anthony Stoeppel assigned to the faculty of St. Patrick Seminary in San Francisco. Effective July 1, 2019.

Rev. Augustine Tharappel, MSFS, granted retirement as Pastor of Prince of Peace Parish in Whitehouse, upon recommendation of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales. He will continue as director of the MSFS Wellspring Center in Whitehouse. Effective May 1, 2019.
