Exalt Praise and Worship Night: There will be an evening of praise and worship, and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursday, December 5 from 6:30-8:00pm at the Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul (1435 E Southeast Loop 323, Tyler, TX). This event title, Exalt: Ever Ancient, Ever New, will feature praise and worship music led by Dave and Lauren More. Dave and Lauren More are the founders of the Catholic Music Initiative.

Deck the Halls Fundraiser: the St. John Paul II Catholic Campus Ministry is holding a Deck the Halls Fundraiser to benefit Catholic campus ministry in Tyler. The event will be on Sunday, December 8 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at the Cathedral Center (423 S. Broadway, Tyler, TX). Tickets are $100 per person and include live music, wine, hors d’oeuvres and dinner, and a silent auction. Deacon Ordination: Christopher Orajiaka, seminarian for the Diocese of Tyler, will be ordained a deacon on Wednesday, December 18 at 6:00pm at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Athens (1310 S. Palestine Street). Bishop Joe S. Vásquez, Apostolic Administrator for the Diocese of Tyler, will be presiding over the ordination. All are welcome to attend.

Theology of Marriage and Dance Retreat: Parishioners from the Cathedral in Tyler are hosting a Theology of Marriage and Dance on January 17-18, 2025 at the Cathedral Center in Tyler. This retreat will unite catechesis on Holy Matrimony with ballroom dance lessons. This event is open to single, engaged and married couples. More information and registration form here.
