The Diocese of Tyler Sanctity of Life Office, Catholic Charities East Texas, Knights of Columbus, CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances, St. Philip Institute of Catechesis and Evangelization and Bishop Thomas K. Gorman School, are partnering with Carter BloodCare on a “Gift of Life Community Blood Drive” and challenges the community to donate 75 units of blood to assist with the current critical blood shortage. Blood donations are way down due to COVID-19 so let’s get to work and fill the shelves!
Please consider rolling up your sleeve and donating a pint of blood on Wednesday, July 29th, the Feast of St. Martha, 9am-5pm in Tyler at Bishop Gorman School. Each donor who successfully gives a pint of blood will receive a COVID-19 antibody test, free of charge.
